It's a Girl Easel Card

After watching a good number of YouTube tutorials on how to make an easle card, I gave it a try and this is my attempt at an easel card.
  • Cardstock from stash
  • "It's a" cut from "New Arrival" cart
  • Carriage stamp from SU - used embossing powder to make it pop a little
  • Border punch MS

  • Sentiment - from SU and embossed
  • "Girl" and button from Paper Studio "La Petites" 3-D stickers

This card was really easy to make and lots of fun to make.

My First Attempt at a Tri-Fold/Shutter Card

This was a fun card to make.  Went to YouTube and watched several tutorials on how to make them.  Can't believe all the tutorials on YouTube, you could make just about anything.  Had to go back several times to figure out how to fold the card.  I still don't think I got it right.  And, yes, this is in black and white.  I still have problems putting colors together so I figured black and white would be easier.  Dah, didn't know I have problems matching patterns too.  Oh well, it's a great way to learn.

Now I'm going back to learn how to make an easel card.

My Take on Coned Flower - Mother's Day Card

Saw this technique while on a blog hop Saturday.  Wrote all the info down as to where I saw it, but can I find it now, of course not.  Anyhows, this is my take on the card that I saw.  Actually, when I went back to the hop there was another take on this technique.  I had fun making these cards.  Only problem, I started way to late to be able to send them in the mail.  So, I posted to FB and e-mailed.
